Bakman Health ("this site," available at bakmanhealth.com) is a personal publishing project. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit and how it's used. Short version: this is a static website that doesn't ask you to create an account, and it collects as little as possible.

Information you provide

The only way to send information to this site is by emailing hello@bakmanhealth.com. If you do, I'll have your email address and whatever you wrote. I use it only to reply, I don't add you to any mailing list, and I don't share or sell it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the servers that deliver these pages (a content delivery network) may automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, not to identify you personally.

Articles link to outside resources — mostly official health sources like the CDC and NIH, occasionally retailers when discussing gear prices. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. It doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding personal data (access, deletion, and so on). Since this site holds essentially nothing about you beyond any email you've sent, the fastest path is to email hello@bakmanhealth.com and I'll handle it.

Changes to this policy

If practices change — for example, when advertising goes live — this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
